The regulated return and intank mods are well worth the money. Do a search and check out the MANY threads on this topic.I have done both mods and am very happy with the outcome.

What do you want to know? Do you just want a way to raise the fuel pressure? Start off with a intank/prepump mods with a spin-on filter, and then do the regulated return system for the engine.

To increase pressure, couldn't he do a fuel pressure shim kit too ?

yes, that would be the only way to do it other than getting an external regulator.
