Broken EBPS Tube
My dad's F350 7.3L PS has been giving him a fit when trying to start. It has been anywhere from -10F to 10F over the last couple weeks. There is white smoke from the tailpipe, but it does not seem to "catch." His truck will only start when plugged in for a full day. We tried to start it Saturday and noticed smoke puffing from the from of the engine block. When we looked at the truck on Sunday (after being plugged in for a couple hours), we found the EBPS tube was split clean in two. This is where to smoke puff was coming from. Would this cause the truck to not start? The SES light is not on and we are lost. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ben
