so far so good
Well Folks,
It's not exactly finished, (I think I will always find something new to do to it) but the bronco is legal and on the road (thanks to the weather here we had to hurry to finish).
We've had some snow, ice and really cold tempatures, with wind chills below zero. The DOH seems to forget that there is a road here and never clear our road (about 3.5 miles of gravel with steep hills, and alot of curve's and of course one lane). I have started driving the bronco every day and I love it. It runs great and has never failed to start on the coldest day and it goes where I want it to go. We got the bumpers, and grill on (which I still would like to find newer onces since they aren't in the best shape). We got the new brush guard that we got from All Type Trailers on ebay, it is now on along with the step bars, new dual exhaust and all new brake lines and vacuum booster and even a new audio system including speaker front and rear. It's finally taking shape. We have a lot of little details to get done but all in all I think it is coming along pretty good. My wife has nick named it the Purple Beast. Here are some pics let us know what you think.

ok computers make me made. cje07 sent me info on how to take a pic of the purple beast and make it my avatar and i just ain't doing something right cause i can not get it to work. i want mine to be as good as you other guys and i don't have the computer smarts to get mine that good.hehe. i went to the User CP then clicked on Edit Avatar, then clicked on Custom Avatar then tried to use the superford.org to add my pic as an avatar and it keeps telling me something about not entering the right url for the pic so it won't let me do the pic as my avatar. i tried just taking it from my pc but it keeps telling me the image is to big. HELP i don't know what else to do.

All I did was go into your gallery right click on your picture, properties and copy, paste the url into the mountain/sun icon in a thread. When you do the copy paste make sure it is not on a thumbnail. You can do the same thing on the Superford site.

Again make sure to right click on your pic, properties, copy the url and paste it into the custom avatar field making sure that http://www is not duplicated. Try it again bud...let me know what happens!
Ok I have tried again with no success. I'm starting to think my pc hates me. I can get the copy and paste part, then it tells me that the pics are to big. i have tried everything and have not been able to find a way to resize the pics with the Superford, or the Gallery through this site. I think it's time i spring for a new digital camera, my wife has been having problems with the camera not putting the pics from the camera to the pc in a small enough size to email. It used to be fine but now it is doing the pics to big to even email them. Oh well i will fix my avatar and figure out how to resize the pics sometime in this life time hehe. thanks for all the help though especially cje07 for posting a bigger pic for me. Yall are the greatest. semper fi.
