Please Help with my Bronco's.... Engine Stalling
It doesn't do it all the time and doesn't seem to matter if the truck is hot or cold. I have replaced the fuel filter in the carb, fuel pump on the block, plugs were good, cap and rotor look great, there are some vacuum lines that are pluged because it used to have ac but I'm not sure if some should still be plugged in.
I set the idle to 1500 while in park and 1000 while in drive.
The thing really drinks the gas I think I am getting 6 to 7 miles a gallon.
Thanks Steve
I had a similar problem on my newly aquired 86, also with the carbed 351HO. I ichanged carbs with a factory rebuilt one and it solved most of my problems. runs much better, drinks the gas though. I am getting about 11mpg. I know I have troubles in the spark department so that will be next.
