tranny swaps, engine tips (help me)
Did the Bronco come out with a 5 speed automatic trans that bolts up to a 302? Would that trans handle 400+ hp and 550+ tourqe? Would the gearing be good for speed?
I have a 86 cobra 302 soon to be a 347 stroker. I need is a tranny that will back it up and still have the strength not to fall apart. If bronco's didnt have the right trans then where do i look?? I want this thing to go fast and have a low rpm on the highway. Also are there any sugestions on what goodies i should use for the motor such as heads, cam, induction. Incase you have not noticed I am very new to this and need guidence from all you experts out there. All sugestions would be apriciated ty!
