Do I really have 4-low?

89 F250, 460/7.5, C6 Auto, High flow Cat, Cat-back exhaust (brand new rear seal that I did myself----bragging rights!)

During this crazy snow season I realized I may not have 'true' 4-low capability.
The front right tire does not spin while shifted to "4L" and both manual hubs locked. (I found this out prior to realizing it was time to put the chains on)

A hub issue? A transaxel issue?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

its just a open differental on your front axel. mine did the same thing when i got stuck in a snow drift the pass side front and rear wheels only spun cause the drivers side was on the road and my truck was bottomed out. it shouldnt have nothing to do with the 4 lo

yes you do, but it's not a magical traction setting. it's a gearing setup. it sounds like you have open differentials.
