dp tuner

some one please describe the advantages of this tuner and what tunes are best for heavy towing. i have a 2000 f 350 single wheel crew cab

Let me just tell you this about my DP tuner. . . . granted I have a turbo and injectors. . . but i can pull a 10k load up a hill in sixth gear at 40 mph and accelerate withouth smoking. now thats power!!!!

but what tunes are best for towing. i have a 4 horse with a 4 foot short wall. horses and all i guess at 14000 or so. i have a full set of guages also.

60 tow and when you hit a steep grade drop it to 40 tow. EGTs are going to be your limiting factor, so get a free flowing intake and exhaust to help keep them in check.

i have the 6637 mod a straight pipe exhaust, but that really needs to go. i run a superchips tuner on the 80 horse tune while towing and have not hit the egt limit yet. how does the dp tuner work. is it a setup that i have a *** and can adjust on the fly or do i have to load it??

yes it can be, the F5 chip, adjustable on the fly, with may tunes too choose from, you can get the old style ****, or the new style push button.

The F5 is only available with the push buttons now. We decided to stop making it with the **** due to to the ***** breaking off too easily.
