272 Coil Wire Placement
hI GUYS!!!My 56 has a 272 y-block and it runs good,even though it has not been on a trip yet.The battery light is on when I run it,and it must be discharging.Where do all the wires going to the coil go to?There are 3 wires on mine,and if they are on wrong,will it discharge?thanks

After checking the coil as that may be where ya get juice to the field post on the generator. you must have juice to the field wire when the key is on to excite the generator. Also after all the above try and polarize the generator.
