I found this forum last week from a suggestion on Tractorbynet for compact tractor owners. I was in the market for a new pickup since my 99 F150 is turning over 160,000 miles and needs new seals. It was a bit weak towing my camp trailer and a diesel rig was high on the list.
I read a number of posts on the F250 and a review on the new 2008 F250 with the 6.4 that narrowed my search. Today I ordered a new one from my local dealer. He actually let me drive one around town. I was very impressed.
I am looking forward to learning a lot more from the good folks willing to share knowledge and experiences.
I too just found this forum while looking for any and all information on the 08' F 450. I currently have a 96' Dodge V-10. Back then it would whoop up on the diesels, but not now. I want to get a 450 this spring. I found info on this site @ Dieselstop.com. I hope to learn many things from ya'll.
Welcome to FTE Curt and Denny! Those new Super Duty trucks are sweet! Be sure to check out the information in the 2008 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel engine forum as well as the SuperDuty forum. Enjoy the site.
