Lightbulb jumped time?

hey all,
I just had a 88 F-250 with a 351 droped in my lap with a bad oil pump. I drove it into my shop replaced the oil pump, now I have a crank with no start symptom. One of my buddies thinks that I jumped time when i put the intermidiate drive shaft back in. I thinking that he is full of bull. I never pulled the distributer or even turned it ???? any input would be appriciated

i doubt it also.

check fuel shut off switch, all that pounding around might have tripped it.

i think it is around the brake pedal in a88.
