Is this applicable to ours?

I dont have any IH numbers but I think I am going to change the table a little to have a Ford Part # and IH Part # column instead of a supplier field. That way both numbers will be tied to the same part. Also members of the Help network will be able to edit/add entries to to help complete the cross reference.

I have used the dwilsons page many times but most of the time when I enter one of the numbers in Powerstrokeshop or millenium fords site it returns No Parts Found. I think Ford may have changed part numbers on us at some point.

Great addition, Alan. Thanks for the work on this. I'm sure that I'll be using it in the future. I would spot you some points, but apparently your the last one I gave some to and have to spread them around a little more.

The basic Ford part numbering system dates to the Model K of 1906. In recent years, Ford has changed the prefixes. In prior years, the prefix refered to a specific vehicle. What the new system refers to, I haven't a clue.

Basic numbers have been added over the years, but outside of outmoded equipment, the numbers remain constant. A fender is still a fender, whether it's a 18-16005 for a '32 Ford, or a F4ZZ-16005-A for a 90's Mustang.
