Ok so my heater/ac high low switch isn't working. It stays on high all the time or its off if its on a lower setting. I replaced the blower motor and the high low switch what else is there? I can't be far off from having it work againg right? So, my overall question is what am i missing what could be causing this?
I had the same problem when I got my Bronco. I replaced the heater resistor pack and it works at all the different speeds now. I bought both a new resistor pack and the "pig tail" it plugs into because mine was so rusted.
I have a question about the blower though. I have all the dfferent speeds now. But all the speeds seem worthless. My speeds are: (1)"off", (2)"Basically off", (3)"I think I can feal it", and (4)"air is moving now". I know the different speeds are working because the frequency of the sound changes. Do I have a bad blower? Or do they all work this way?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 05-Dec-02 AT 04:45 PM (EST)]O, so it's inside the blower motor compartment. Not in the dash, i've heard they put it there too? well i'll check it out. Maybe when all the snow melts off the truck it's snowing hard here in Amherst, MA. thanks guys.
