I have the cab off the frame on my 53 F100 so I cannot measure something I need. Approximately how much room is there between the top surface of the truck frame and the floor of the cab? If there is enough clearance I want to run the fuel line from an electric fuel pump on the top surface of the frame.
Thanks
The clearance on mine is about a finger width as I recall. But remember that the cab flexs on the rubber mounts. I would be afraid that the fuel line would get pinched during normal operation or even cut in an accident. My line is inside the frame where it is protected. Good luck, Jag

Not to sound like a broken record but I agree with the previous post. The cab does flex still and have slight movement. It could pinch them lines quick. Here is the routing of my lines on the passenger side of my 55' which has a 302 EFI engine using a stock ranger pump. Thanks Donald
