Panel adhesive?
Would that work on replacing the lower quarter panel as opposed to welding?
I do not own a welder and am looking for alternatives to ridding my Bronc of cancer.
you will need a special gun to use fusor,it is a 2 part expoxy with a nozzle that mixes it for you,no guessing on how much you need to use.
we use it on all patch panels we put on.it saves us a lot of welding and bondo work.
If I am replacing the lower quarter panel (I guess that is what I would be replacing on my Bronco if the wheel wells are rusted out), how would I clamp that in place? Would I have to use rivets? Or would those deep clamps liek those used by woodworkers work?
>they have a product called fusor,it is a structural panel
>adhesive that works good.they have 3 diffrent set up times,5
>mon,30 min,and 60 min,this is basically setup/working
>time.get the panel clamped where you like it,then put the
>adhesive on the back, dont worry about excess squeezing
>out, the glue is watertite, clamp it then wait depending on
>the time you used.the 5 min will setup in 5 min,if it isnt
>in place in the 5 min, where it is when it sets up,thats
>where it will be.just make sure the back of the piece is
>clean and rough it up just a little bit.
