Smile Tires and load ratings

I have a 03 f250 S/C 4x4 stock a 9.5' TC that wieghs 2500# wet I also pull boats, snowmachines or 4 wheelers. I was looking at getting 265/75-16 E tires to replace my 235/85-16, it looks like all brands have a load rating of 3400#. I know 03 f250 and f350 have the same axle and springs but differnt size tires. But the f350 has a payload of 3730#. I can't find a tire with this rating in a 265/75-16E

3400x2=6800lbs 6800-3730=3070lbs So you would have 3070 lbs of tire over the payload rating. Must remember the rating on the tire is per tire. with both tires don't go under the GAWR, or it will lower it to what the tires are rated for.

What's the GAWR for the rear?

Stick with the E range and you'll be fine.
