92, F150 Flareside, 5.0.......starting to look for a tonneau......not having very much luck at all. Also probly going to need a taigate too....not sure this one can be hammered out and made look good.
I find 97-03 Flareside and Ranger Flareside but not 92 F150. My question is:
Is my bed the same size as a Ranger?........or do I just have a tough year and model to find those sort of parts for?
It appears, so far, that most of the cab parts are standard F150......ie: lights, mirrors, weatherstripping, etc,
Any help and years compatibility with mine will be greatly appreciated and kept in a secluded hiding place until another lost souls needs it.......
There's a forum in here for aftermarket products. I'd start a thread there. There are site sponsors that go thru there and would be willing to help locate what you're looking for.
The F150 flareside bed is different than the Ranger flareside bed. As far as a tailgate, you'd need to find one for a 92-95 F150 flareside, as the regular 92-96 F150s used a different(bigger) tailgate. The cab/interior parts are interchangeable between the regular F150s and the flaresides. Tonneau covers for the 92-95 Flaresides are getting next to impossible to find. I had a hard time finding one for my 92 a couple of years ago. It turns out a local parts shop was able to locate a parts warehouse online that still had 4 of them in stock. I bought one, and I'm sure that the other 3 are probably sold by now. You may want to try Bruce Horkey wood and parts. I know that they sell custom made tonneau covers for a wide variety of pickups.
