Hey guys-how do you reduce your pics down to the 60x60 pixel size.
And do you have any other tips for where/how to post our "showin off" pics?. Thanks

I reduced my image to that size in a word document, then ran a fee screen capture utility (Screen Hunter) to cut the image and then paste it into MS Paint and save it in the appropriate format (don't remember what the format is, either jpg, gif, or bmp). I then uploaded the final image that I saved from Paint. There may be a simpler way, but this one worked for me.

I used a program called Avatar Sizer.

Works great.

There's also photobucket. It allows you to have albums etc and has the proper sizing tool for both avatars and pics to insert in posts. And FREE too.

I have PixResizer. I think it's 60x60 when you aren't a supporter but when you are a supporter it is 120x100. I think i have the BEST avatar ever.

I use Photoshop to crop and resize my avatars.

Even if you resize it down to 60x60 it has to be smaller than 8k for non-subscribers. I've found that GIF pictures are much smaller in storage size than JPEGs so when I do avatars I save them as GIFs to fit the 8k requirement.

ATS & WW, the whistle is insane. Everytime I get it up to right around 21-22 psi is where it's loudest in my truck. My g/f once covered her ears because it's almost ear piercing loud.

Not to go too off topic, but this picture is beautiful. Here she is, ready for install I cropped my avatar from this picture.

This program has worked well for me....http://www.lan-lord.net/photo_resize.aspx

You can specify what dimensions you want your pic to be.
Hope this helps you get started on your Avatar!
