runs rough blue smoke HELP
when i start it up the rpms will kinda jolt till i give it gas. then i let it warm up and take off and about a mile down the road it will start to cut out and lose power and i have to pull over. then i will try to rev it up and it will start to slowly raise the rpms and blow blue smoke out for a few times then ill take off again and it will do it again and again. about 20 min later it seems to start running fine. it will also shift at a higher rpm than normal and shift harder than normal i have a 97 f350 powerstroke diesel everything is stock as far as i know. we put some additive in it and changed the fuel filter can anyone help me im in desperate need of my truck
