At the very top of the page, right under the word "Truck" in Ford Truck Enthusiasts, is the pull down menu for "Recalls/TSBs". TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletins. Enjoy!

Thanks to both of you.

I have a loose passenger side mirror which obviously needs to be tightened from inside the door. I've been trying to figure out how to get the panel off but haven't had any success.

This is a big site and seems to have a lot of information but my searchs on individual subjects bring back pages of postings most of which have little or nothing to do with what I'm looking for. I'm sure it's just a matter of learning my way around but it's taking time.

On my 01, you remove the bezel from the door handle and remove the screw under there. Then, you pop off the trim piece that goes up the rear side of the door next to the glass.
If you have power windows, pop out the part of the armrest that has the switches in it. Remove the screw under there. Unplug the wiring from the switches.
Then, lift the door pane straight up about 1 inch then remove it. These panels have tabs that slide down into pockets, they are not like older vehicles that use the push-in clips.
Reverse procedure to reinstall. Just be sure to put the lock button up thru the panel before pushing it back down or it will be hard to unlock the door.

This article covers what LxMan1 covered and then some, with a few pics as well (in case you are better with pics than words). It's for replacing the speakers but might help a little. Pretty sure the '02 is the same basic style. Good luck.

I found a thin knife to be handy for getting the lock button lined back up to come up through the panel. I was getting kinda frustrated before using it. Hmm, I just realized rolling down the window might have helped too, but that wasn't an option for me at the time
