352/360 Carb question

Hello everyone,
I was wondering: Are the stock 2V carbs on a 352 and a 360 the same or at least interchangeable? My friend has a 360 out of a 1973 pickup and the motor is shot. My 352 is in a 1965 F-350. If possible I want to put the carb on the 360 on my 352. Thank you for the help.
Garrett

There shouldn't be any problem transferring an Autolite 2150 (I believe) to a 352 that had an Autolite 2100. Now the 2150 will most likely have the pcv inlet in the base of the carb as opposed to the spacer prior to 1972. So you will have to plug one if you already have a connected pcv valve. Choke probably an electric one versus the manual or heated type of the 60's.

My '65 has a 1972 360 in it and came with the original 2150 in really bad shape and it had that inlet and electric choke. Neither was connected of course by the previous owner. Got the right sized manual choke 2100 on eBay and sent it out to Pony Carbs for rebuilding. Today I just hooked up the pcv valve for the first time since I am forced to use the '72 carb spacer with the dog leg that fits over the dog leg in the manifold. Could swap that manifold out but not in the mood for doing it. Instead realized I could put 1/4-18 pipe threads in the egr spacer so I could close off the exhaust and put a barded fitting in for the pcv hose. Worked like a charm and now the spacer I took off (I had 2) can be tapped using a 3/8 tap as this one has larger openings for some reason. This would give me the ability to use a correct year valve and hose setup.

thanks for the advise. I was pretty sure I could do it but just wanted to see if you could for certain. Thanks again Garrett
