Cat delete
I purchased the AFE cat test pipe (#49-40028). While installing it tonight I noticed the hanger is not quite right, it seems too long. Has anyone else had a problem with this? I'm going to see how it compares to the original and then probably cut it??
BTW it took less than 30 minutes to take the old one out and fit test the new one.

Well it is official. the sound makes me think I'm sitting next to my old squadron ops building on the flightline. The job was one of the easiest things you can do...and the straight pipe sound is great.

Just wondering what you did with the hangar? I just received mine yesterday, and I noticed the same thing. Haven't had the chance to install it yet. I did the muffler delete this past Monday, which improved the sound a little bit, but I am very excited to hear what it sounds like without the cat.

Yes I deleted the muffler about a year ago by welding in a piece of straight pipe. As far as the hanger goes I removed the factory one and put it in the barn with the cat. the one on the delete pipe doesn't appear to fit so I will just cut it off and add in a couple of clamps and hangers to support the system.
