rear wheels
on the set of wheels i have in the back there is a cover that covers the middle of the axle(don't know what its called but if you were take the wheel off and just look at the brakes its the middlepart) curious if i take that cover off since it rattles like crazy will cause any potential of damage to the axle or whatever.

I think you are talking about the part that comes off with the rim when you take your lug nuts off. This part is just to cover up the bolts that hold the axle in place. You shouldn't have any problems running without it. I did.
