Does any one know where I can find the rear trim pieces for my 96 XL Bronco? I need the rightside, left side and the tailgate cover in royal blue. My truck didn't come with any from the factory, just black panels, no rear seat and no console. All the junk yards around here don't have anything that new. The dealer wants $699 a side, I like the truck but that is insane. I did find a set out of a 89, but I would rather have the correct ones. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks Bob
My 96 also is royal blue. I could not find any blue panels locally for my bronco. ( originals stolen) So I found some grey ones at my local rebuild yard and used those, got them for 50 bucks. Blue is tuff to find!!! You might try ford truck recyclers in california. the number is 18004342222 they have alot of parts. What do your black panels look like? I use my bronco to hunt fish and offroad. My back seat is sitting in my garage.I use the back to haul my dog and gear. I am rhino lining the back and black panels might match better let me know how they look.
The original owner was a contractor, and the inside was trashed. After removing 2 inches of mud from under the rubber flooring, nothing was reusable. I got the truck cheap cause it needed a trans, so I rebuilt it and slowly finding parts to put it back togeather.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-Dec-02 AT 11:43 PM (EST)]Change to tan - it's much more common & is the color for Eddie Bauer, so your truck's appeal will increase slightly if you ever try to sell it.
I wasn't aware that there was a panel for the inside of the tailgate for the newer Bronco's. My tailgate has always been the color of the exterior so I had it (and the window motor inspection cover) Rhino lined in grey when I replaced it now it matches my grey interior. Withstands having stuff bounced across it when I load the truck too.
