Question PMS Advice??

Okay, I've been "lurking" here for a while, and Friggin' PMS has got the best of me.

I have a couple of questions though;

First off, when I do the regulated return will I still need the HPX pipe? Don't they bolt into the same place? Also is it worth it to buy the regulated return kit or is it just as easy to follow Kwikkordead's instructions?

The next question - What is the easiest/most reliable turbo set-up? Should I get a van turbo? Just wicked wheel mine? (2000 f-350) Buy the aftermarket housing? A combination of these, or nothing at all? I'm not looking to replace injectors and HPOP (unless absolutely neccessary).

The HPX mod is for the oil system & the regulated return is the fuel system, so no they do not bolt into the same place, I would do both.
The easiest (not cheapest) would be to put an ATS housing on your stock turbo, if you can find a good deal on a van turbo get that & put an ATS housing on it & you will get better performance.

Well, I wouldn't go modify the stock turbo, if you are going to be getting really big injectors. If you just want stage one, stage two 60-80hp injectors, then a modified turbo like i have will be fine. Look at getting the 1.15 exhaust housing, EBPV delete flange, EPBV delete pedestal, ATS compressor housing, and WW compressor wheel if you want more whisselll. Stock compressor wheel if you want best performance. The HPX line is like a "shock absorber" for the HPO system, it equalizes oil rail pressure and makes for a smoother running engine. The fuel system is completely seperate from this particular fluid rail in the cylinder head.

Beware the power of the darkside young powerstroker.

You can save a little $$$ by running around and getting all of the parts up but the Intank/Prepump and Reg return kits from www.itpdiesel.com are very high quality and reasonably priced and you get to support a sponsor.
