Replacing Electric window Motor

Hello i need some tips on replacing my passenger side power window motor, i have the new one but can't seem to get the old one off any help would be appreciated

What year and model are you working on? I have never done it, but remembering reading there may be a rivet you have to drill out on some models.

My 1990 F150 had punch marks on the metal showing where to drill. One bolt was accessible, but the other two you had to drill a 1/2 in hole to gain access. Once you removed the bolts you had to pop the motor out of the mount. Be sure to tape the window open (Masking tape to the window and then over the top of the door) otherwise it could come sliding down on you while your working in there.
