Since tire sizing is a recurring topic............
This question seems to come up alot, and I just recently ran across my sheet of tire sizes that I made up. There are lots out there that will work on the stock rims, but it takes some research to locate them, here's what I have found. Hope it can help some of you guys.
305/65R18, BFG, 33.7 tall, I wouldn't go any wider on a stock rim.
285/65R18, BFG, 32.58 tall
33x12.50x18, Toyo, also pushing rim width
275/65R18, Toyo, Cooper, Procomp, stock size
275/70R18, Toyo, 33.1 tall, E rated
265/70R18, not sure who makes, 32.6 tall, slightly narrower than stock
Anyway, there's some of the oddball sizes I've managed to locate.
