If you've the Proper Bellhousing for it, yes, which I believe I've one in storage.
Now,are you writing about a '65-'66 200 I-6 or are you writing about a '63 170 Special I-6?
Which leaves me a tick confused, because the 223 I-6 was what came in the '63 Fairlane & Not the 200 I-6.
And "Why" would you wish to put a SB 200 I-6 into a Mid-Range Car that originally came w/ what is Technically a BB I-6 the veneralbe 223c.i.er?
It came o.g with the a 170, the 2nd owner had a ford dealer swap the 200 some time down the road. About 2 years ago I sucked in some F.M and it scratched up my bore, I lost comp., so I rebuilt it. Is that right about the years? Are not the 170-200-250 the same family?
Yes that is Correct about the years & it's the 144/170 Special/200/250 I-6 family of I-6's, though the block on the 250 was re-designed somewhat to be a tick larger.
The 66' bronco came with the 300 i6? If so, wow. That is a lot of engine for such a small package. I don't know why, but I thought it was the 250 i6 with the extra main?
