Hey All!
My '84 F250 has had a lot of trouble starting lately. If it sits for more than 2-3 days it will act like it is not getting any fuel. I'm guessing i have an air leak somewhere that is letting the fuel drain back. My question is wether or not I can install some type of check valve or shut-off lever so the fuel will not drain back. If so, where should I install it? Return line? after the filter? Any input on this will be helpful
Thanks
Kevin
Just replace all the retun lines on the engine.
When I do mine I remove one side, change the O rings, and then rebuild the return tee set for that side. After it is reinstalled I repeat for the other side.
No can do a check valve....... You state you only did the orings unfortunately the caps distort too, get a kit. There are numerous other places on the filter header too.
