98 Expy 2WD Front suspension problems
I have a problem, last night my Expy started making a metal clanging sound when i was making a left hand turn in the front end. Later that evening it became a popping sound very similar to a CV joint going out. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on??? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Stabilizer bar links
Stabilizer Bar Links may have broken?? Check both ends of the stabilizer bar where it connects at each end. Even if the link is there in place doesn't mean it's broken. Make sure there is a head on top and a nut on the bottom. I've seen one break where the link actually was in place because half the bolt was still there but the Stabilizer bar was no longer connected to it. Easy to check

Sounds like ball joints to me...mine made similar noises last month...had to replace both lower ball joints and one of the suspension stablizer links was broken (as mentioned above)...in my experience, most front end/alignment shops will inspect for free.
