It probably would have been better to get a d60 of an 87-91 F350 which would have come with the proper hubs for the single tire set-up.

Could get a bit expensive to convert what you got by the time you consider the costs of the hubs, bearings, axles?, U-joints?, brake rotors?, calipers?, splash guards?, Tie-rods? etc....

Never seen anybody run a set of dually tires in the front and singles in the rear. Probably would have to carry two separate spares. Not sure whether that would be a save set-up to run.

Seb....

what make & year did you get your axle from?
i have a friend who just cut the drw part of the rotor off, and pressed out the lugs and pressed in regular lugs.
I dont think he had to change any thing else

I think the only diff between a srw and a drw front is the spacers for the drw rims.
thats the only thing that i could tell was different.

85 f-350 4x4, but you see the lockouts have the axle shaft part in them and the hubs for the spacer are coarse threaded and tapped into that spacer so i guess i don't really understand what your saying

My experience with those is all you will need is a new set of regular lugs nuts. The wheel adapter is basically a pipe with 2 flanges on it. One end with 8 holes that fit over the lug studs these get the flat nuts. The other end has another set of studs for the moon dish wheel. These were usually the lug nuts with a washer already attached. If you take off the wheel adapter (8 flat nuts) near the rotor should slide off and single wheel goes back on with a beveled lug nut. The wheel adapter is making up the difference of the moon dish so you could rotate tires. The tire itself actually is in the same position as a stock single.

That should just be a spacer that will unbolt.
The spacer lets you run bud wheels on the front axle so you don't have to carry two spares.
