Greetings from Siletz! My question is my wipers only work on high and not low or intermediate.Have replaced switch and still didnt work.My question is the motor shot or do I replace it?.My truck is a 1990 XLT 4.9 auto, there is a sort of round black unit that is atatched to the wiper motor .I have taken the frount of that unit off and found 3 contacts 2 r worn ,cleaned those 2 contacts up figured that was the problem but 2 no avail. So if anybody knows what the problem is Iwould be greatfull. If nothibg else I,ll just replace the whole thing .Thanks 4 all your help.

If the motor works on high, then I really doubt the motor would be a problem. I'd suspect the problem to be in the wiring to the motor, or the delay module. My first guess would have been the switch, but it looks like you've tried that.

I would try the delay module also. I think it's under the dash on your model.
