4x4 Noob

Anyways, I've been lurking on these boards for the past few weeks and have already picked up quite a bit. But my problem is this...
I'm a complete noob when it comes to all things 4x4. Are there any sites anyone can recommend that lay it all out? Like when to use 4WD, when not to, what I can expect from the 91 Bronco as far as problems, quirks, etc. I didn't get an owner's manual, so I guess I'm looking for one of those too. From reading some of these posts, I'm scared to death I'm gonna screw something up. Any help anyone can offer would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!!!
If you keep reading and going back thru the old posts, I'm sure you'll find plenty of info. You might also join the ORC BBS at http://bbs.off-road.com/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=offroadfordbroncolate - their Search function works!
Yeah, I already picked up a Chiltons on the way home from the dealer. Still wading through old posts, but I guess my overstressed mind works better when I get it fed to me with a spoon. Trying to make sense of all the conflicting responses is giving me a headache... lolSo any other ideas are welcome!
Thanks again.

Glad to hear about your new purchase. Just last week I bought a '92 EB w/the works for $2800! so needless to say I'm still floatin off that buy.
Anyways, get yourself a Haynes manual as well because both manual differ in that one manual has info the other doesn't have and vice versa. As for some sites with good info, this site is by far the best, but some others are www.mybigbronco.com and www.bigbroncos.com
But watch out in those forums because the guys in there are mean and they'll flame you big time because they don't like people posting questions without having searched for the info first. The information in both sites are excellent and I really like the search engine on MBB.com As for a search engine on this forum, it seems to be non-existant right now, but the moderator is working on it as we speak.
I personally like this forum the best because the guys/gals are first rate and friendly. A lot of people frequent this forum so your questions will get answered promptly with good info.
Also be sure to check out the online store this site offers. They have lots of great goodies and each purchase helps the site out.
Happy trails and enjoy your new Bronc.

I can definitely understand that... that's why I was hoping for some sort of central repository of info that I could go through before I get into specifics. The Big Bronco FAQ at OffRoad.com was a great help, so something else like that would be ideal.
