transfer case

Which transfer case would a 1995 F-150 w/ 351 E4OD with the automotic hubs and automatic 4x4 shift (shift on the fly I think they advertise it as) have? Haynes made it sound like just one has the electric option, but how do you confirm? Thanks.

Most likely the borg warner 1356 t-case because the earlier 208 were only available in manual shift.

you can look at the transfer case there should be a tag on one of the outer bolts. But if you or any previous owner never changed it then it would have to be the BW-1356.

Are you haveing problems with it or are you just wondering

Thanks for the help. It is the 13-56. I was wondering so I could get the right amount of ATF to change the fluid. I figure I might as well change the fluid while I replace the U-joints and have the slip yoke out anyway. Job is done, I got the right amount of fluid and it seems to work great! Thanks again
