Ok, I had an oil leak at the High pressure oil pump. Fixed it. Had a leak in the fuel dump lever just behind the Oil pump and now oil is leaking at the point where the hose from the oil pump connects at the valve cover on the drivers side. What is the best way to go about fixing this? Is it a matter of tightening, replacing another o ring or what? Do I need any special tools for this one? Thanks for all the information
sounds like you need new orings and torque them to the correct specs if you can,
i feel as if you overtighten the collar, you can squeeze the oring too much and cause a leak, i deal with air preassure lines and valves at work, and all the orings get replaced annualy and are toruqe specific, i think this application would be the same.
