Well, actually right now I do. Of course it ain't mine LOL!! It's from a Boss 9 Mustang that I'm freshen up for the guy. I have a collection of parts(shafts, gears, junk), but no whole units left. Until I can find one for $100 I'm not getting anymore either. It's sick what people are asking for paintjob rebuilds!! $500-700!

Cool Boss 9.....yeah you would think there made from gold! Oh Ken Cooper says Hi..

I was talking to him about the block plans..and I wanted a good shop for the work after the You do the Programs....And he said yes (not that I doubted you) he had mentioned that he works there on and off..and told me to call Roger..and tell Roger that you and he told me to call him ...So they would know I'am 1 of the good guys!! LOL..

You still contenplating selling the blower car?? Huh Huh... I think you just like getting offer's on it...LOL

Thanks For the Help Larry!!

How the heck did you talk with Coop? You dealing with sweepers now? LOL!!!
Ya, Kenny has worked with Roger back when he got laid off from Hoovers a few years back.

I can hear Roger now......"OH god another FE guy" LOL!!! "and putting it in a pickup to boot" LMAO!!! He'll say, "Yup, you know Larry alright"!!!

I'd hate to see the car go, really, but you know how money talks. It's just when someone comes up to me with some STUPID offer I can't refuse. I just think of all the cool junk I could buy if I did sell it. Then of course I'd be out of a cool car and the money would be all spent and then where would I be?

I'm sure Coop tried to just sell you his car, right? Or is that how you talked with him? His car is pretty stout and he did all the fab work. He bought car new and it slowly progressed to the stage it's at. He told me it was on Racejunkdotcom

LOL ...Larry speaking of Hoovers maybe he can tune the 2 up I have!! LOL.. No he had made a comment to a guy looking to have some block work done in Oh-High-Er..and he had mentioned Canton Auto Machine.... So I wrote him and asked IF he worked there or just knew of it?

He wrote back and said he helped out down there every now and then...So I asked him if he knew Mr. "Stickshift" KortKamp....and he said "YOU" know larry? I said yeah ..I have known Larry for a few years now ect... So then we got to BS'sin about all your FE toys...and I told him I was having you do the ProGram mains and ARP studs in my CJ block...He said he knew you would do a good job! I agreed" I told him that I know you know what your doing, and that I wouldnt trust anyone here were I live with the FE...

Then he said that he uaually has Breakfast on Saturdays with you!! So I knew then he must be a pretty nice guy and could be trusted...Cause I didnt think you ran around with any flakes!! LOL

No he didnt mention his car once...But now I'll have to seek out what it is? LOL..I know Glenn is still looking for a roller for his Genessis Stroker motor.. But I had told him that I wanted Canton to give me a price on the align bore and to square and deck the block..and put in screw in freeze plugs...That when he told me to call Roger and tell him that I was knew him and you so he would know I was 1 of the guys...Not that it would Help!! LOL..

You know Larry you could always pull the blower motor out and sell Glenn there Gal rolling? But then again he may want it as it sits? But I need to find out how much Roger gonna cost me..So when all is said and done I dont embarrased myself with not having enough money stashed back for the Machine work !! LOL..

Actually Coop was there when I did my caps! He came with me to work on the weekend that I did the machining of the block, as a helping hand(nothing to do on a cold winter day). I've known him for near 15+ yrs now, been dealing with Roger for near 20 yrs now! Ya, there is the lunch crowd every Sat. at Rogers. Been doing that near 20yrs now! Sometimes 4 of us, sometimes 15+ depending on who shows up.

Coop has a '81 Mustang he bought new(4cyl) and it now is back halfed with 598 ci nitrous motor in it. Poke around Racingjunk and you'll see it(brown with cream stripe down center). He's selling due to won't pass 7.50 cert. and he doesn't think he has the money to cut it up again and do it over. It's gone 8-teens @ 170+.

Yeah Larry i have seen the ad before....Just didnt put the 2 and 2 together...I sent you some email I think about the prices Roger gave me on my block..

I'am now thinking along the lines of an older ford to put this build in..and going with the Toploader as I have all the part for the 4 spud..but just not the tranny...LOL

And just continue the 70 pea-cup as lowered with the roll pan..and a new set of ION wheels and some street rubber and new paint..and a tonneu cover on the back..

And build something that might get me into the high 10's as a street cruiser..and maybe a 150 of NOS? who knows..with the new cranks out I think it will handle it? we will try!! LOL
