a few questions

First question, My gas gauge seems to have a mind of its own it sways around, sometimes it reads more gas then I know is in the tank, then you turn it off and wait a while and it will go down to were it probably should be. My sender completly broke over the summer while the gas tank starting leaking so there both new. I did have that sender replaced under warrenty because it was ever more funky then this one. Is this normal?

ok this is my second question my exhaust is falling off, I checked the places that are mentioned in other posts and they just seem expensive to me. I called an exhaust shop that is very good, they will do a SS 2 1/2 y pipe hi flow cat and 2 1/2 cat back with a magnaflow muffler for $650 do you guys think that would be a good performance exhaust? I might get headers but I want to find a nice pair that won't rust out up here in NJ. Any recommendations with headers would be great too.

Ok heres my last question, I use my bronco as a daily driver and a tow vehicle, its a 91 XLT with a 5.8 and 31x10.5. It pulls about 5000 Ibs car and trailer. The trailer has dual electric brakes. In the future I may do some light off road stuff. I guess I want what everyone else does more power better MPG. How should I set it up? I don't need to go crazy, but I probably will anyway so any suggestions would be great. this site has been a big help thanks guys

Sorry, I should tell you what I have done so far. I tuned it up with new plugs, 8mm wires, cap, rotor, K&N filter, and the converter went so I had the transmission rebuilt with a heavy duty converter.

If you're going to go with a complete exhaust, you might as well get the headers while your at it. Check out Summit Racing for a wide selection of headers...bot in price and in quality. Other than that, the only way to get REAL power gains is to do engine modifications...cam, heads...both are relatively easy to find and are pretty reasonably priced. Theres a lot out there, so just look around at what fits your needs best.

thanks Pioneer I might do a cam in the future but I will see how it goes with the exhaust first. Do you like ford headers they make Stainless ones right? I just do want to have to change them after a few years.

I don't have Ford headers, but they seem nice...you could always take them to a chrome or ceramic coating shop so they will last longer if you want. Otherwise, just fork over the dough for a nice set of ceramic coated headers from another high-end brand. Good luck
