Some kids shattered my driver side window the other night and I am struggling to replace it.
I picked up a window at the wrecker, but I cant' figure out what order to use to reassemble the door.
I am trying to put the window into the door first, then replace the wing window assembly, then add the regulator assembly.
I just can't seem to find clearence for everything.
Does anyone have suggestions for what to do first? Any "tricks" I should be aware of?
I think you need to have the regulator assembly in place before installing anything else. If it is put together like the 87-96 version, the track on the bottom of the main window will slide on/off the regulator arm, so put this in next with the crank down most of the way, and then the vent window and guide is put in place last.
