Help with 4.2 Spark plug

Help with 4.2 Spark plug

Ok so I must have screwed somethign up Im reading ther Haynes booklet for my truck, it shows the following

3 6
2 5
1 4

3 4
2 6
1 5

does it mean that on the left side that the order is as follows, and on the right side i dunno i really dont understand the booklet someone help its confuseing me. they dont make it very easy.

On the 4.2 the cylinders are numbered

3 6
2 5
1 4

On the ignition coil pack the wires are in a different order. They are

3 4
2 6
1 5

im still confused i think its right but makes the noise still.

I just started it and I belive its in that order reved the engine and no back fire, but seems to make a noise like its got a exaust leak.
