which tranny?

Which transmission would an 89' F250 2wd w/ 460 and an auto tranny have? Is it the E40D or another one? I'm looking into buying this pickup and would like to know what tranny it has so I can do some more research before I buy it.

Probably a C6 non-OD tranny behing the 460.

That's what I forgot to mention, it has an OD button on the dash. Did the C6 also have OD available?

No, the C6 did not have overdrive. That truck has an E4OD.
