Question Ext balanced q's 302

I have an 87 302, it used to be in a 4spd truck, i am putting it in an automatic truck, am i gonna have issues with the engine balancing if I switch from the heavy flywheel over to a flexplate? I am using the correct flexplate for an 87 302 w/ automatic....thanks for input.

No, the imbalance factor is the same for both manual and automatic. Make sure to remove the pilot bearing or bushing from the rear of the crank. Otherwise the torque converter won't seat in the rear of the crank.

I bought the flexplate new- for an 87 f250 302 c6. Autozone part# FRA-231. And I have starters off either a windsor/auto(diff flexplate number tho) and the 302 4 spd, will either work?
