dash trim
i have a 06 f250 sport package and the interior is dark flint seats...the ones where the outsides are black and the insides are a mixture of black and grey...my dash is black and my flors are black also...now the part on the door right above the door handle is that carbon fiber look...i would really like to get a carbon fiber dash kit to match that but what are the chance of matching it erfectley? and also what other wood grain or other dash kits would look good woth my really dark interior

Have you had any luck finding a dash kit? I'm having the same issue with my 2005 f250 with the Roll-A-Long package....the carbon fiber is kinda wavy, not the squared look that I'm finding everywhere. I thought about doing the grey burl wood for the dash kit....don't know if that will clash with my other trim. I might try to switch it all out for the gry burl wood, but still shopping.

Guys let me know what you are thinking. I have the lariat interior with the wood look and I am not a big fan. I am looking to replace it with either the outlaw style aluminum look or the Harley style carbon fiber. Ig you guys have more options and would be interested in the lariat Wood style I would be interested in swapping.

I would like the wood look, But our truck years are too far apart...and mine is the Tan color. I don't think that would go to well with your carbon fiber look...Unless you were REALLY drunk!

Countermarker, could you post a pic of the door panel you are talking about, cause I can't picture it in my head. I've only seen the Harley carbon fiber look, the outlaw aluminum look, the lariat wood, and the standard grey vinyl.
And yeah Billy bob too bad are truck years are so far apart. Of course with the tan interior it would look wierd anyway. I actually ran into the same thing at work, I was gonna swap door panels with a guy until we realized he had the tan interior. (And how did you know I was really drunk last night?

I like the wood look, but not everywhere just a few trim pieces...but I'm a girl, so that's probably why I prefer it to the carbon fiber look. I'm thinking of the grey burl wood, since my truck is grey with black on the inside. I also would like to replace the pieces on my doors, and the piece in the center console....Beerstalker, what color is your wood trim? What pieces do you have? Thanks again!

I have the sport package as well. I have wanted to get a carbon fiber dash kit too. I probably wont do the outrageous prices for that stuff. When I was thinking about it a year or so back, I contacted the manufatures of different dash kits. I told them I wanted something that matched the Ford carbon fiber. They understood and sent me 25 cent size pieces as samples. They got the color right but the pattern was a bit off. Either too big of a checker or to wavy. I only tried two companies and decided it was not worth $300-$500 fora kit.
That would be my suggestion, get some samples and see which one mates the best. The companies just sent them in the U.S. Mail and didn't cost a thing.

i really like your wood trim look...the only carbon fiber i have is on the door arm rest area...if you are looking to getting rid of your dash trim let me know what you think,...i may be interested...i couldnt get a picture because is wasnt clear enough. the carbon fiber is too small
