my 2000 supercab 4x4 90,000 miles makes a loose, rattling, popping sound when turning left or right. the steering wheel has to be full left or right. there are no problems or noises unless full left or right is achieved. tire wear is normal. is it ball joint time?. truck is always hauling or towing something.....what is your guess.........clay

I have auto hubs to and have had them not release on their own .Try turning the front drive shaft you may have a similar problem . They may be locked in yet. I'm switching to manual hubs so that I know they are either locked or unlocked for sure.
