Autospring leveling kit install????

Last week when I was looking to buy the autospring 2" leveling kit I found a post on google.com somehow is the question that showed detailed step by step pics on a 2004-2008 red ford f150. It was some guy posting for his buddy who put the instructions and pics up. I cant find it anywhere has anyone seen this thread???

thanks,
john

I have read a lot about something spinning when trying to tighten it back up forgot which part it was already cause im so excited to get it in the mail haha it feels like Xmas. How do you get around that part spinning? Looks like I will finally have to take some pics of my truck before and after the install shes a virgin to the camera hopefully shes a natural in front of it haha.

Thanks a ton for your help youll have to tell me what you think of the before and after pics

I used vice grips on the center of mine...but yeah, it's the sway bar endlink that spins

have fun, and of course make sure to put up pics of the truck afterwards.

Going to be installing my leveling kit tomorrow after work and have one last question. How did you guys torque the lower strut bolt to 225 ft lbs? Mine only goes to 150 and i cant find anything in my small town that goes up to 225.

Try a tool rental. My 1/2" torque wrench goes to 250 lb. ft.

I luckily have a 250 ft-lb wrench

I would recommend using star torque...just keep going until you see stars that is

I tried Oriley, Napa, Autozone and every other place in town with no luck. My warranty on my truck just ended so maybe I will use the star technique and then have the ford dealership torque them to 225 when i get it aligned.
