Post 351c swap

has anyone here ever done this before?i have all the parts i think. i got the engine stands,bellhousing,headers and oilpan from a 351m. i am working on a 73 highboy with a 4spd. just wanted to check and see if anyone has any info or see something i missed. any help would be great.

Just did mine on a 74 4x2 though and all I can say is you will need the 351m/400 perches. I had the 390 perches and it sat about 3 inches too far to the front and had tranny bolt up issues on the cross member. Used the other perches (351m/400) and it all came together. I also used the 302 truck motor mounts on the 351c. Went to autozone and asked for motor mounts for a 78 or so with a 302 and they did fit. Hope this helps some.

The 351C and 351M use different bellhousings and oil pan
The 302,351w, 351C use same bell housing
The 351M, 400, 429, 460 use same bell housing

no the 351c and the 351m and 400 use the same oilpan,but diff mounts and bells.
