damaged my oil pump?
I pre-oiled my engine tonight...but at first i was turning the oil pump the wrong way. My haynes manual said "clockwise for V8 engines and counterclockwise for inline sixes" I ran the drill for about 2 minutes and had no oil pressure, so i checked a different book...yes you gessed it the haynes manual is wrong. the good news is i have oil pressure and it all flows where its suppose to, but i think i may have damaged the oil pump in spinning it the wrong way.
