Replacing Headlight Assy--Q's
Hi there, I have 96 Explorer v6, 4wd, 4dr. and I am attempting to replace the headlight assemblies on each side. I made sure and bought the right ones (I'm upgrading to clear lens) but when I get in there it look like I have to take the grill off and remove the other light assemblies (parking/turn signal ) also just to get to the adjusters to take out the out old headlight assy. Is that right? Any advice on this? Thanks in advance

Yes, you are going to have to remove the top plastic cover that goes over the lights and grille, the grille itself, and the corners lights. The corner lights come first, then the plastic cover, then the grille.
After that, you have to remove the old headlights. I know Beast just did his about a month ago. Lets seach for his post and see if we had some info in there that will help you...
