this might be a silly question but any ways. i am thinking about what i want to do for rims for my 59. i have no ideal as its still torn apart in the shop. i was thinking some tourqe thrust ds would look cool and fit well, but my truck is 4wd so do the center caps come off and would the hole in the center of the wheel be big enough for my front hubs to fit through. i know this might be kind of a weird question but any help would be helpfull.
thanks for the suggestions ill have to give um a look but i think the torque thrust ds look pretty sweet. i dont know why im even thinking about rims when the front clip and doors are still undergoing bodywork. any one else know if these rims would fit over my 4wd hubs.
i've never seen any of the mentioned wheels made for 4WD application, but that doesn't mean they aren't. Until the last 20 years or so, the only thing available for 4WD was stock or steel spokes. Remember the days when white spoke wheels were cool?
that is my worry that the hole in the center will not be big enough to fit over the hubs. personally white spokes look good on a 4wd truck a heck of a lot better than stock. thats ok though im running 16 inch split rims on my 64 wraped in super swampers.
You mean they're not cool now???LOL Matt just check the web sites of the mfg. of any wheel you may be interested in. They all list there sizes, applications, etc.
