I'm trying Diesel Kleen right now. Which is the same thing as PowerService but with out the anti-gel. It might get down to the teens twice a year here so i dont forsee needing the anti-gel. But anyway so far i have'nt had any ill effect which i think is good. And at 1/2 oz per gallion it only cost me a $1.43 extra a week. but i think it seems to same me a gallion. i'm not right sure right now but forthe last 3 weeks i keep coming up with a gallion more than i should have. So in other words yesterday it took 3 gallion less than it did 3 weeks ago to fill up driving the same miles. I noticed this every week. At the end of the 1st week it was gallion and so on. I'n not makeing a report right now untell i can be sure. Although if this comes out to be the truth then it actyally pays me as i go to use the DK. I'm not the others wont do the same. I'm saying i think the additive just might be worth what ever it is.
Increasing cetane level is a plus, expecially in cold climates. Also, anti-gel properties are important in cold climates. You really need an upper cylinder lubricant and injector cleaner especially if you have an engine not designed to run on the ultra-low sulpher diesel fuel. PowerService is very popular and they have several types of additives. It's available at most auto parts houses and any truckstop that is worth a darn. Lucas makes good stuff as well. Read the bottles carefully and make sure it offers everything you want. You may need to get a couple of different types to get everything you need.
We ONLY sell Stanadyne as it is OEM approved by Ford and that keeps the dealers happy! Check our site if you want, www.dieselperformanceparts.com

Maybe true... but call PowerService and they will tell you that they sell bulk too Int'l and that they are spec'd for all Int'l motors... (the maker of the PSD). Powerservice is also approved and available through Ford's "Blue Oval" program per Powerservice.
Both brands are well liked and used and will not void the warrenty or cause any problems. Both add cetane, injector & pump lubricants and anti-gel properties depending on the formula.
