Engine Plate?
I took my truck in, an '06 with 4000 miles. They said it was the cam position sensor leaking among a lot of other problems. Two days later it's back in for another oil leak worse than before, they called me again today and said it was finished. They said it was a rear main seal and a rear engine plate leak, said they sealed it. Does anyone know what a rear engine plate is? Doesn't sound right to me, they can't do the bed plate without pulling the motor. What the heck?
