Interstate batteries, probs after one year
I put in two new batteries last year at this time. Im noticing that they just wont crank my diesel very fast anymore when its really cold. I dont know about most 7.3's but mine has to spin over pretty good to fire. I know its not the gp system, as I had that checked and replaced the gpr, etc. Anyone else have thier batteries start to die only after a year?

Yes, what voltage is at the batteries. The slightest voltage drop between the alternator and the batteries will give them an early demise.
